Dubai Blockchain Center was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai on the 14th of May 2018. The centre aims to bring together blockchain thought leaders, developers, investors, and educators.

Openmesh will work with the Dubai Government and the Dubai Blockchain Centre on a local Xnode MDC (Modular Data Center) to support AI ecosystems in the region. This will be a major development in innovation in cross industries for the government to be involved in big data, cloud computing, web3 and AI. 

Dr, Maruwan will be the main point of contact for this initiative. He is an influential figure in the region who happened to work with Fantom and Openmesh in the past.
